Description:

A striking and increasingly collectible vintage Tissot Seastar Quartz in classic late ’70s integrated sports-watch design, crafted entirely in stainless steel and paired with a beautifully textured deep blue sunburst dial. The sharp case lines, slim proportions, and seamlessly integrated bracelet give the watch a distinctly sophisticated character — a design language many collectors today associate as an early predecessor to the modern Tissot PRX aesthetic.

This watch is powered by the Swiss Tissot cal. 2031 quartz movement, an early-generation quartz caliber representative of the innovative quartz era of the late ’70s. A particularly charming detail is its characteristic vintage-style date adjustment system, typical of first-generation quartz watches and a reminder of the experimental and transitional nature of early Swiss quartz watchmaking.

The watch is running well and keeping time as it should. Overall condition is very strong, showing only light and honest signs of vintage wear consistent with age, while maintaining a clean and highly attractive appearance throughout. The case retains its elegant integrated form beautifully, complemented by the original Tissot stainless steel bracelet and signed clasp.

The case has been lightly and carefully refreshed with polishing and finishing, done sparingly to preserve the original character and natural signs of age rather than removing them entirely. The crystal remains clear and transparent, allowing the dial to be appreciated beautifully without distraction.

The rich blue dial is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the watch, shifting subtly in tone depending on lighting conditions and pairing perfectly with the polished steel architecture of the case and bracelet. Combined with the slim proportions and distinctly Swiss late ’70s styling, the result is a watch that feels both understated and unmistakably refined.

An excellent example of a vintage Swiss quartz sports watch from one of the most interesting periods in horological history — equally suitable for collectors, enthusiasts of integrated bracelet designs, or anyone drawn to the elegance of the late ’70s watch aesthetic.

The watch comes with its original vintage Tissot box.
