Description:

A beautifully preserved and character-rich vintage Seiko 5 Automatic featuring a clean silver sunburst dial with gold-tone applied hour markers and hands, complemented by a distinctive day-date display at 3 o’clock.

The watch is currently fitted with a handcrafted green leather strap that pairs exceptionally well with the silver dial and vintage styling. The original Seiko stainless steel bracelet is also included and accompanies the watch. The bracelet shows substantial wear and patina consistent with decades of use, adding to the authentic history of the piece.

Powered by a reliable automatic Seiko movement, the watch is running well and keeping good time.

The silver dial remains remarkably well preserved with crisp printing and excellent overall presentation. The hands and applied markers display light age-related patina, giving the watch a warm and honest vintage appearance without detracting from its overall charm.

The original crystal presents very well in normal wear and viewing conditions. Under direct or angled light, minor age-related marks and imperfections can be observed, but when worn on the wrist the watch maintains an exceptionally clean appearance.

The stainless steel case shows honest wear accumulated over many decades of use. Rather than diminishing the watch, this natural aging contributes to its authentic vintage character and reinforces the impression of a well-loved and original timepiece.

One of the most charming details is the unusual multilingual day-date display featuring roulette-style colour accents and Roman numeral day markings, a feature rarely encountered on more common Seiko 5 models and one that adds both personality and collectability.

Importantly, the watch appears to remain original throughout, including the dial, hands, crystal, case and original bracelet. The combination of a well-preserved dial, attractive patina and honest wear creates exactly the kind of authenticity that many vintage Seiko collectors actively seek.
