A beautifully presented Swiss Military Hanowa Automatic featuring a deep blue sunburst dial that shifts character beautifully depending on the light. In softer lighting the dial appears almost black, while brighter conditions reveal rich blue tones that contrast perfectly against the polished steel case and distinctive fluted bezel.
The dial is complemented by applied luminous hour markers, polished hands, and a magnified date display at 3 o’clock, creating a clean and highly legible design with a strong modern Swiss sports watch presence.
Powered by a Swiss automatic movement visible through the exhibition caseback, the watch is running well and keeping perfect time.
The overall condition is nothing short of exceptional. If I did not know better, I would honestly describe the watch as virtually new old stock. The case, bezel, crystal, dial, hands and bracelet are remarkably well preserved, and any signs of handling are so minor that they are extremely difficult to find even under close inspection. During normal wear the watch presents as essentially flawless.
One of the standout features is the beautifully executed fluted bezel, which catches the light from every angle and gives the watch a distinctive character often associated with far more expensive luxury sports watches. Combined with the rich blue dial and Swiss automatic movement, it creates an elegant balance between everyday versatility and premium styling.
